“Loving Vincent”

The “Loving Vincent” Exhibition at Anima

“We cannot speak other than by our paintings.”  -Vincent Van Gogh in his letter to his brother Theo

The exhibition was designed by the film directors Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Weichman.

This animation film brings the paintings of Vincent Van Gogh to tell his story.  The 65,000 frames of oil paintings in the film were all hand-painted by a team of 125 artists from 15 countries over the course of 2 years.
